Vedior is pleased to announce it has acquired an 85% interest in Special Agent Ltd (“Special Agent” or “the Company”). Special Agent is the UK’s only specialist recruiter whose key focus is the provision of temporary and permanent educational support personnel in ICT, finance, sales/marketing and school improvement/consultancy disciplines.

The Company’s clients include not only schools, colleges, universities and local education authorities, but also educational product and service providers. Special Agent is the only recruitment company that is a member of the British Educational Suppliers Association.

Special Agent operates through seven distinctly branded divisions taking a highly consultative approach to client requirements and is uniquely positioned to source a range of experienced professionals for interim, consultancy or permanent work. The Company has been short-listed as a finalist for “Supplier of the Year” at the Education Resources Awards 2005.

Established in 2001, Special Agent achieved unaudited annual sales to 31 May 2005 of £2.8 million (€4.0 million).

Special Agent’s existing management team will continue to develop the Company. The outstanding 15% interest will remain with management with Vedior having the right to acquire these shares in due course.
